Were you named after anyone? My Mom – my 1st name Suzanne is the same as hers, and my middle name Teresa was her Confirmation name.

2. When was the last time you cried? Yesterday…shady politics got me down.

3. Do you like your handwriting? Considering I re-type all my hand-written notes, I’m going with ‘no’ since it’s pretty much illegible.

4. What is your favorite lunch food? Amy’s Organics frozen meals – she has a variety of gluten-free options (sadly ‘sandwiches’ are too complicated for my palate).

5. Do you have kids? I have neither children nor baby goats.

6. If you were another person would you be friends with you? Yes! I’d give me the best presents:)

7. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Define…a lot:)

8. Do you still have your tonsils? Yes.

9. Would you bungee jump? Over water – yes. Over concrete – no way!

10. What is your favorite cereal? Envirokidz Gorilla Munch – it’s a gluten free version of Captain Crunch. And yes, it IS a children’s cereal.

11. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Most of my shoe’s don’t require ‘tying’. Sometimes I kick them off, or at people.

12. Do you think you are strong? I took another quiz that said I could take on 18 5 years olds at once. I think that’s a testament to my physical strength.

13. What is your favorite ice cream? Hagaan Das Coconut Sorbet (Hil I used to like AmeriCone Dream as well!! Until I found out gluten is poison for me).

14. What is the first thing you notice about people? If they need something from me.

16. What is the least favorite thing about yourself? Obsessive compulsiveness – I spend too much time organizing every email into it’s correct folder…just when I decide to relax though, I need an email I sent in Nov 2006 regarding Overtime Requests and it starts all over again.

19. What color pants and shoes are you wearing? Grey slacks, black dress flats.

20. What was the last thing you ate? the aforementioned Gorilla Munch accompanied with a cup of matcha.

21. What are you listening to right now? House Energy and Commerce subcommitte on the FDA’s self-assesment. I bet you didn’t know C-SPAN had live video streaming did you!

22. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Red – I make a lot of corrections on memos with my red pen.

23. Favorite smells? sunscreen

24. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? My mom – yesterday was her birthday.

25. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Yes – she lives on my favorite interweb street.

26. Favorite sport to watch? NFL games that have led me to an early victory in my Super Bowl pool (Go Giants)! And the winter olympics.

27. Hair color? Brunette with blonde highlights.

28. Eye color? Blue.

29. Do you wear contacts? Yes, and I order refills from 1800 contacts and they always send me contacts in japanese packaging. They work fine, and I alway sing “I’m seeing japanese” when I open up a new package so it had a little fun to a normally mundane task.

30. Favorite food? Prosciutto and cheese with vinegar! With a glass of wine…yummmmm.

31. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings

32. Last movie you watched? Last King of Scotland from Netflix…couldn’t get into it.

33. What color shirt are you wearing? Red patterned shirt

34. Summer or winter? Winter, though I live in AZ so I’m guessing a winter of 65 degrees isn’t what they have in mind:)

35. Hugs or kisses? I’m partial to butterfly kisses.

36. Favorite dessert? Cadbury Chocolate! Also the King Arthur gluten free brownie mix in the care package Weslie sent me!

39. What book are you reading now? Essays of E.B. White and my latest issue of Healthcare Executive (zz…zzzzz)

40. What is on your mouse pad? Hmmm…a picture of the earth with the title “CashLink II” and the contact info – this is software our cashiering uses…boring! My mousepad at home is better, it has a picture of a cow and says “Udderly Vermont” and I bought it in Stowe, VT when I used to live in New England.

41. What did you watch on TV last night? Episode 6 of the Tudors (via Netflix). Highly recommended.

42. Favorite sound? laughing!

43. Rolling Stones or Beatles? Beatles.

44. What is the farthest you have been from home? Well, I’d say Puerto Rico but that was my home at the time…I guess the farthest I’ve had to travel was Ellie’s wedding. A red eye flight from Seattle to FL is not the most enjoyable way to spend 14 hours!

45. Do you have a special talent? Like Visual Basic or SQL? Or is that just a nerdy talent.

I’m in a bit of a contemplative mood today, so I fear there will be fewer exclamation points than last time.
(Sigh).

1. Are you named after anyone? You know, it’s a mystery. I think my mother originally named me Jonathan, but on my baby book that was scratched out and replaced with William. Parents have never told me why they named me that, and there’s a whole bunch of weird family history that I won’t get into, not even with you gentle HilStreet reader, mostly because I don’t want my wife rolling her eyes when she sees this. (Which she’s prolly doing anyway, I can hear her saying to Hil “stop encouraging him!” the next time y’all talk.

2. When was the last time you cried? Last month.

3. Do you like your handwriting? Nah, but it does allow me to make up people’s names and put them in stories. I just scribble something down and if someone asks where I got that, I just say “hey, look, I got it right here. My digital recorder was acting up and yes, I did talk the guy that said Barbaro died right after the Preakness and the last 8 months were a stunt double.”
With that kind of credibility, I’m already qualified for Fox News.

4. What is your favorite lunch food? The cafe next to work makes these veggie wraps. The only problem is the onions. They pretty much stay on my breath for hours, and no amount of eclipse gum can make it go away.

5. Do you have kids? Nope, and considering my wife got a job that will require her to work 22 hours a day, it’s safe to say I can start working on my illegitimate family immediately.

6. If you were another person would you be friends with you? Naw. You know, I hate people like me. There’s only room for one obnoxious, braggart in every crowd, and that’s me, not me and other me.

7. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes, but I haven’t perfected it. I think you need a dry sense of humor for it, and my humor is moist by comparison I suppose. You know, I’m not quite sure what that means.

8. Do you still have your tonsils? Yes, despite Ellie’s attempts to take them out when we started dating.

9. Would you bungee jump? No, but I would not ride a mule down a canyon!

10. What is your favorite cereal? Granola.

11. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Depends. I usually double-knot, which is a pain to take off, so I slip them off and then use my teeth to get the knots out.

12. Do you think you are strong? Physically? No. Morally? Ehhhh…maybe?

13. What is your favorite ice cream? Rocky Road (not the late-80s afternoon sitcom on TBS, but chocolate and nuts and marshmallows and all that.

14. What is the first thing you notice about people? That they’re always surprised at how awesome I am.

16. What is the least favorite thing about yourself? My inability to stick to an exercise routine.

27. Hair color? Light brown, though Ellie found a rogue gray-white one the other day. I think it was an albino follicle. I think I got a few more years until the gray kicks in. Maybe by then, I’ll be so bald nobody will notice.

29. Do you wear contacts? Yes, though I think the whole “get a refill every six months” is just a buncha hogwash. Total scam. I’m only halfway through the pack I got 2 years ago. I’m sure the fact my eyes are consistently bloodshot has nothing to do with it.

32. Last movie you watched? Juno. Funny, but kinda unrealistic don’t you think?

33. What color shirt are you wearing? white Louisville t-shirt my family got me. (I’m such a homer).

34. Summer or winter? Winter. That way I can put on the Football Season 15 and nobody notices.

35. Hugs or kisses? I just ate about a dozen Kisses, so I’m going with that.

36. Favorite dessert? A big ol’ glass of Sketchbook Cabernet. I’m such a snob!

39. What book are you reading now? Just finished Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing on the ’72 Campaign Trail. Fantastic. A must read for a political junkie.

40. What is on your mouse pad? Redskins (hence, the computer is in the “Redskin Room”

41. What did you watch on TV last night? Episodes 10-12 of the first season of Lost. I’m kinda late to the game, I know, but I’m into it. I think they’re all apart of somebody’s subconscious.

42. Favorite sound? “Will, do you know how awesome you are?” Haven’t heard that in ummm…. awhile.

43. Rolling Stones or Beatles? Wow. Depends on my mood. Though man, I love some early Beatles. Easily the happiest music ever.

44. What is the farthest you have been from home?
Well, I spent 5 days in Cuba. I only lived about 200 miles away at the time, but trust me, it felt like longer.

45. Do you have a special talent? Answering surveys?
