Lord, it’s hot.
Any good Texan has a variety of Margarita fixins at their disposal at any given time. Some fixins you acquire as gifts, or from when your mom visits and brings her own “pre-made margaritas.” (?) Some fixins are your tried and true favorites.
The point is – you never know when you’ll need to cool off immediately. Think of it as summer first aid for your soul.

I have almost all of those things at my house too….except for the premade “margaritas”. Those do not enter my door. Sorry Hil’s Mom. One thing we would add–frozen strawberries. Yes! delicious times are ahead.

You are a good Texan. I heard it was hot in Austin yesterday, 105? Yikes! I hear we will be that hot this weekend, I need to find a friend with a pool…or maybe just buy margarita fixins.

My favorite overall is the Chuy’s strawberry frozen with salt. but I also love all of Trudy’s mexican martinis. lots of olives. margarita-soaked olives are one of life’s treats
